Tudor is a cluster of homes around a mostly dry gulley that may have connected to lake Windsor at some time, but doesn't anymore. Tudor Drive is a narrow dirt lane that runs along the canyon and is lovely for walking your dog, but be careful because cars do come tearing down this dirt road far too quickly at times.

When there has been lots of rain this gulley fills with water, and even when it has been dry there are usually some areas of water. As long as there isn't too much water, walking in and around the gulley can be very pleasant. It is a short walk down from most houses in the area. Hills slope down gently so it isn't too difficult of a hike if you can find a path through the thick woods.

If you are up for a longer hike you can follow the Tudor gulley down to lake Windsor for a pleasant lakeside walk or swim in the water in the summer heat.

Houses around Tudor are mostly clustered at the tops of the rolling hills, with beautiful views across the sweeping forests. Forests are thick with mature trees, but if you and your dog are dedicated hikers you can navigate parts of the forest, especially in the fall or winter.

The valley that runs through these hills and which Tudor Lane runs along offers adventurous hiking and an escape from the forest for you and your dog. Get your feet wet in the creek or pools and enjoy hiking along the varying topography of smooth rocks and sandy beaches and deposits.

While the forest around Tudor is gorgeous, it is a relief on the eyes to look down the valley. The scenery is timeless and beautifully rugged. Some parts of the old creek wind wide while other parts are narrow paths through the trees.

Be careful when hiking through the dry riverbed since snakes and other potentially dangerous reptiles and insects like to sun themselves in the rare open sunny areas.

Most of this area is heavily forested, with houses being sparse and widely spaced. The forest is thick and mature, coating the gently rolling hills. Tudor surrounds a valley that cuts through the rolling hills and provides opportunities to see all kinds of wildlife, as well as giving the eyes a rest from the constant trees. This valley is entirely natural and offers the chance to see deer, turkey, foxes, etc. that have come down to seek out drinking water or sunshine.

Tudor lane runs along the valley and provides pleasant walking beside the valley if you don't want to hike through the valley itself. On the other side of the lane, thick forest stretches away up the hillside. This walk offers a lovely contrast while you stroll between the sunny valley below you on the one side and the dark heavy forest stretching away above you on the other side.

Where the valley narrows the lane empties into the valley. You can enjoy heavy forests stretching away on both sides while you stroll along the narrow sandy valley.
