The park is also home to the Banks-Vernonia State Trail, which offers 24-miles of hiking fun for you and Fido. The trail hs an elevation gain of 1,027-feet on a point to point route. For most of the hike, the trail is paved, making it an easier hike for you and Fido, and the trail is covered in trees to help provide shade while you hike. Your dog needs to stay on a leash while you are using this trail together, and be sure to bring clean up bags and water.
