Walpole is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts that's only 13 miles south of downtown Boston. The town was first settled in 1659 and eventually incorporated in 1724, and today it has a population of more than 25,000. Like most of Massachusetts, Walpole has a humid continental climate with warm summers and cool, snowy winters. No matter the month, the temperature in Walpole usually accommodates adventuring outdoors quite nicely. There is so much to see and do in Walpole, and you and your dog will have a blast exploring the town. There are a handful of veterinary offices in Norfolk County and many more in nearby areas surrounding Walpole.

If you're looking for an excellent meal in Walpole that doesn't require leaving your dog at home, there are a few great options. Right on Main Street is a delicious Mexican restaurant called Jalapeno's Grill. Here, you can enjoy classic Mexican dishes like tacos, fajitas, burritos, or carne asada -- and, of course, no visit to a Mexican restaurant is complete without a refreshing margarita! Jalapeno's Grill has five outdoor tables where your dog can accompany you for a bite to eat before you head out to explore Walpole and surrounding areas on foot with Rover.
