Lacy Park is a small community park in Warren. This East Side park has a few attractions packed into a small space. There's a basketball court and a playground together near the center. The outer edges are grassy and open, perfect for walking your dog. You may have to walk a few laps to calm down a high energy dog! This park is not usually crowded. Beaty Park in Warren East is a fantastic place to relax with your dog. There’s a shaded pavilion area perfect for a picnic lunch. The basketball court and playground are popular, but what really sets Beaty Park apart from the competition is the skate park! This small course attracts riders from all over. Take the path through the park and walk a loop of the skate park for an interesting view for you and your dog! If your dog is more likely to be spooked than interested, don’t fear—this park is large enough that you can walk through the trees and skip this area altogether.

Soldiers and Sailors Park is a small park in Downtown Warren. While not the biggest or grandest park, it's a great green spot in the middle of a bustling neighborhood! Relax on the benches in the park, or walk your dog around the large statue at the center! If you're looking for a little more to see, check out Breeze Point Landing. Shaded pavillions make Breeze Point a more relaxing place to visit. You can watch boats entering and leaving the river at the dock, or take the paved walking path to explore down by the river. Dogs have to be leashed in both parks.

DeFrees Park is a small, urban park in the center of the residential Warren West neighborhood. It has a basketball court, a small pavillion, and a small grassy area. It's a fairly quiet park, so it's a great place to go to walk a shy dog or just get away from it all for a little while. If you want something even quieter, leash up and take your dog to Washington Park. This natural park is heavily wooded, with trails and paths that are all but swallowed by the trees! Either of Washington Park's short walking paths can feel like a trip to the wilderness without leaving Warren West!

Betts Park in the Pleasant Drive neighborhood of Warren is a gorgeous park on the Allegheny River. It's a great place to take shy dogs, because despite the gorgeous views of the water, it's less crowded than other parks. While there's no playground or sports fields, there is a lot of open, grassy space and a wooded path that runs near the water. This path is going to be your dog's best friend; it runs along the outer curve of the park, and makes for a great morning or evening exercise spot. Bring your own water, because the park also lacks drinking fountains!
