The City Center of Webster City is home to quite a few different parks, giving you and Fido plenty of choice. One of the largest is Nokomis Park, where you will find two softball fields, an ice skating rink, a playground, and canoe access, as well as a paved path that takes you around the park. Not too far away is Sketchley Park, which is also quite spacious. This is a passive park, with the majority of it being woodland, but what your pooch will love the most is the off-lead dog area here. Although this is not fully fenced off, it is well marked out and features several obstacles for your pooch to play on.

Beach St/ 2nd St
There is plenty for you and Fido to see and do in the Beach St/ 2ndSt neighborhood, making this an area in which you will probably spend quite a bit of time. For dogs, Brewer Creek Park is usually a favorite in this neighborhood, because not only is this park home to a disc golf course and a native prairie area, but it also provides access to the Brewer Creek Trail. This easy loop trail stretches out for just over two miles, following alongside the scenic Brewer Creek and providing picturesque views the whole way. Dogs are welcome on this multi-use trail, but do need to be kept on a lead at all times.

Lehigh
It takes about seven minutes to drive from Webster City to the small neighboring city of Lehigh, and your pup will definitely love the walks to be found here. Lehigh is home to the Brushy Creek State Recreation Area, a rugged state park that stretches out for more than 6500 acres. This is one of the top outdoor recreation spots in all of Iowa, with a 690 acre lake that is the deepest artificial pool lake in the state. There is plenty to do here, from fishing and hunting to hiking, with around 35 miles of varied trails to choose from. While some trails may be closed depending on weather conditions, the 12 mile gravel trails that encircles Brushy Creek Lake is open all the time.

South Fort Dodge
This neighborhood in Fort Dodge is about 15 minutes by car from Webster City, and with its waterfront location along the banks of the Des Moines River, offers scenic views throughout, as well as a couple of parks that your pooch will really enjoy. This Fort Dodge neighborhood is about a 20 minute drive from Webster City, but the journey is worth it thanks to all of the pawsome walks to be found here. The largest park in the neighborhood is the Snell-Crawford Park, where you will find a couple of sports facilities, a picnic site, a playground and a paved path, as well as access to the Fort Dodge Nature Trail. This trail extends out for just under three miles, and will take you and Fido through some wonderfully tranquil patches of heavy woodlands, as well as open farmland. The Snell-Crawford Park also provides access to the Soldier Creek Nature Trail, which runs for just over a mile along an old railroad track.
