Remember to bring your own bags and water!

The Stroudwater Trail is a pawesome place for you two to stretch all six of your legs! The four-mile trail makes for a scenic stroll at any time of the year, but it’s extra special in fall, when the trees lining the route burst into a riot of color that needs to be seen to be believed. Fitter furry friends looking for a challenge might want to try the steep granite steps leading down to the Stroudwater River, but less athletic animals might be glad to know that the rest of the trail is relatively flat. Be sure to bring bags to keep this beautiful area clean!

Willard Beach
No bones about it, if your pooch likes swimming as part of their off-leash adventures, they’ll have a whale of a time at Willard Beach in South Portland! The beach allows free roaming fur-balls during summer mornings and at all times during the off-season.
