The climate of Bentonville, Arkansas is congenial for walking all year with mild winter days that usually reach above the freezing point. Light winter outdoor wear is usually sufficient. This greenway provides 36 miles of connecting trails in the Bentonville area that can provide hours of walking opportunities for you and your dog and access to numerous parks, schools, and sightseeing opportunities.
Memorial Park has 73 acres of developed recreational space with a pool and fountain. Sports fields, recreational facilities, basketball courts, and tennis courts are also located here with plenty to see and do for locals to peruse on a stroll through this recreational area. There are benches to take a break on a hot summer day, a restroom, and a dog station to dispose of dog waste. Orchards Park is a more passive use park with walking trails. A lighted pavilion, amphitheaters, and water features provide interesting walking destinations.
