“Tell your dog I said hi.”
Hi, my name is Cassidy! I've grown up always having at least one dog, and I know how important they are as members of the family. With three dogs of my own, (Doberman, Terrier mix, and a Pit Bull), I know how important getting plenty of exercise is for all pups. Safety is my number one concern, and with my ample experience, dogs of all sizes will have a fun and safe walk with me as their Wag Walker. I can't wait to meet you and your pup!

Johnson is a small city set deep in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas that more than 3,500 people call home. The city wasn't incorporated until the 1960s, but it has since benefited from rapid expansion and a population boom. Johnson is a great place to call home, and it has all of the amenities a city needs to raise happy and healthy families, including your four-legged family members, of course! Johnson doesn't have its own off-leash dog park, but there are several nearby, as well a handful of veterinary offices.
When it comes to grabbing a bite to eat in Johnson where your dog can join you, the delicious Golden Kolache Bakery is your best bet! This Fido-friendly eatery has outdoor tables where your dog can hang out with you. While you're here, try a kolache, a Czech pastry that has either a sweet or savory filling. Golden Kolache Bakery is open Tuesday to Saturday. Be advised that your dog must remain at the table while you go in to order. Once you've had a treat, it's time to set off to a nearby dog park and get to know the area with your pooch!
Just 20 miles north of Johnson is the Murphy Memorial Dog Park in Rogers, Arkansas. The park is located in the southeast part of the city, and in addition to the small and large dog sections, the park also features a separate training area. This pawesome dog park even has a washing station so you can clean your pup up before you head home. During the summer months, you'll also find kiddie pools where your pup can make a splash! For your convenience, seating, shade, and waste disposal items are all available at this free off-leash park.
Fayetteville is a large city in Arkansas that's less than 20 minutes south of Johnson. In the very southern part of Fayetteville, there's an area called Lake Wilson, and it's full of all sorts of opportunities for family fun! Lake Wilson is a 320-acre park that includes 28 acres of water. In addition to Lake Wilson being a good place to hike, fish, boat, or picnic, it's also a great place to bring your dog! The Lake Wilson Off-Leash Dog Area is "fenced" with natural boundaries instead of wood or metal, so make sure your dog has good recall skills if you plan to let them off-leash. There are miles of trails to explore with your dog, and you'll be rewarded with stunning views along the way!
One of the closest dog parks to Johnson is the IAMS Dog Park in western Fayetteville, which is only about a ten-minute drive away. You can access this park by taking a trail from Bryce Davis Park, and it's certainly worth the quick walk! The dog park has three sections: one for small dogs, one for big dogs, and a large, fenced pavilion with a water fountain and covered seating. The small and big dog sections include some agility equipment so you can teach your dog a few new tricks. There is also seating and waste disposal items within IAMS Dog Park, too.
You can drive from Johnson to north Bentonville, Arkansas in about 25 minutes, and this is where you'll find the Bentonville Bark Park. This pawpular dog park has a big dog section, a small dog section, and even an agility section! The Bentonville Bark Park has a reputation for being frequented by friendly dogs and owners, and it's also known for being kept very clean and well-maintained! The park is free to use, and it also features seating, waste disposal items, and a water fountain just outside of the fence. The bark park is right next to the North Bentonville Trail, which is a nice place to take your dog for a walk on a leash.
If you're looking to do something a little different than playing at an off-leash park with your dog, consider visiting the War Eagle Cavern on Beaver Lake with them! The War Eagle Cavern is located in Rogers, Arkansas and it's one of the most-visited attractions in the state. Here, you can tour the cave, pan for gems, and explore the maze, and your dog can join you if they're on a leash! This is the only dog-friendly cave tour in the area, and it's always 58 degrees, no matter the time of year. You can take a guided tour here with your whole family, and kids under three get in for free!
