Dog Walking in Fountain Hills

Fountain Hills was named after the large fountain in the center of town, which was once one of the largest fountains in the world! But the fountain isn't all it has to offer; this town is a great place to be in since there are a variety of things to do here.

If you enjoy hiking, this city has several trails where you and your pooch can enjoy and explore nature while getting in some exercise. The trails range from easy to moderately difficult, depending on your physical condition. Some of the trails are shorter distances and some are fairly long. Since they all have good reviews, you and Fido are sure to have a pawesome time no matter which trail you choose.

The McDowell Mountain Preserve & Trails offers guided hikes. This is great if you and your pooch want to get to know the terrain better before heading out on your own. You will just need to register prior to the hike, but the hike itself is free of charge. You will have to pay the $2 admission fee to enter the park, but there is no extra cost for the guided hikes. The views on all the trails are stunning, which is what makes it the pawfect place to make some un-fur-gettable memories with Fido!
