A lesser known tourist attraction is also located in Glassell Park. Done in the style of the iconic Hollywood sign, you will find the "Glassellland" sign overlooking the northern part of this neighborhood, off of Kinney Street. Residentially, most of Glassell Park is comprised of standalone, single-family homes. Many of these homes are tucked away on hilly and windy roads.
Fido will be taken care of in this neighborhood as there are several groomers and local dog trainers in the immediate area!
Glassell Park is bordered by Glendale to the north, Eagle Rock and Occidental College to the east, Elysian Valley to the south, and Atwater Village to the west. Eagle Rock Boulevard and Division Street are the two major roadways that go through this neighborhood.
Other nearby parks include Moon Canyon Park, Sycamore Grove Park, Marsh Street Nature Park, Juntos Family Park, Elysian Park, and Ernest E. Debs Regional Park. Elysian Park, and Ernest E. Debs Regional Park, the largest greenways on this list, are also both home to dog parks, in case Fido is itching for some off-leash time.
