“The best Dog Whisperer!”

Hi I’m Tony Hauk. My 5 children are grown and gone which gives me time to focus on your four legged family members. My best buddy is my Shih Tzu Smudge who loves nothing more than to hang out by my side. My family calls me the Dog Whisperer because in no time, pets follow me wherever I go. I make friends with the dogs I walk and they love seeing me back again. I'm the only walker you'll ever need.

Hi! I'm Samantha. I'm a recent NYU graduate/dog-lover who is looking to earn some extra cash before starting law school in the fall. I've been dog-walking since I was 8 years old, and frequently pet-sit for my neighbors. I myself have a dog -- he's half yorkie and half miniature schnauzer and he's the cutest thing in the world. I truly love dogs and am looking forward to meeting all of your precious pups!

Hi, my name is Bea. I'm an avid walker and dog lover. I've had dogs all my life, most of them rescues raised from pups. I've trained them all myself with great results. With our last dog passing last year and my daughter rescuing kittens, I find myself missing the company of dogs. This would be the perfect solution for me.

Dog Walking in Newbury Park

The majority of the town of Newbury Park is actually located within Thousand Oaks' city limits. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though, especially for pups and their parents! Thousand Oaks -- and, by extension, Newbury Park -- is an incredibly dog-friendly city that has plenty for you to do and see.

Here, you'll find a variety of dog-friendly outdoor activities, as well as restaurants and cafes which welcome doggie diners. There's veterinary clinic within Newbury Park proper, and a couple others just a short drive away in Midtown and Casa Conejo. No need to worry in case of accident or mishap; Fido will be in good hands in Newbury Park!

Need some off-leash playtime? Head into Thousand Oaks to find Conejo Dog Park, located within Arroyo Conejo Open Space. The dog park features ruffly 4 acres of open off-leash space for mutts to play and run, with two designated areas for small and large breeds, water fountains, and a fence. The park is open daily, but closed every Thursday from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. The open space also provides access to Wildwood Park and Paradise Falls walking trails. Be sure to come prepared with good walking shoes and all the essential supplies for your outdoor excursions in Thousand Oaks.

The Santa Monica Mountains is a must-see attraction for everyone visiting Thousand Oaks for the first time. Don't miss the Angel Vista viewpoint, which is an amazing place to hike to with your pup! Follow along the 4 miles of Rosewood Trail, or almost 8 miles of West Los Robles Trail, to find this local gem and challenge yourself and your mutt!
