Hi! My name is Hunter! I am currently studying film at the University of the Pacific up in Stockton, California. I was raised around dogs since I was born and have always had a passion in caring for them. I had a boxer named Lucy and eventually two more boxers named Stryk'r and Dewey. These dogs were rescued and my family and I were happy to take these dogs in. They were also somewhat aggressive towards other dogs and people they knew were strangers and I feel this was a great learning experience for me to understand how to handle these strong and dominant dogs.I now live in the San Fernando Valley in the greater Los Angeles area and I live with another 1-year-old boxer named Kota. She is one of the nicest dogs I have ever met and has a livelihood I have never seen in a dog! She loves to run and play with as many of her other dog-friends at the park as she can! I am excited to meet you and your dog(s) and I can't wait to help you with your dog walking needs!

Dog Walking in Ojai

Ojai is a small city in Ventura County, located in the Ojai Valley. While mostly known for being a tourist city with an abundance of boutique hotels and spiritual retreats, Ojai is also a great destination for your dog who can enjoy its recreational activities and hiking trails.  Ojai also offers six veterinarians to ensure your dog has all his health needs covered.

Stop in and grab some food at one of Ojai's pet friendly restaurants with your pup. Nocciola specializes in upscale Italian cuisine, and offers an outdoor patio that welcomes your dog to join you. After filling your bellies, work off some of the food by checking out the numerous hiking trails that surround Ojai. The Rose Valley Falls trail is an easy trail the two of you would love to explore together and enjoy a day out adventuring.

Since Ojai is a tourist destination, you won’t have to worry about finding a hotel that allows your pet to stay with you. Be sure to check out hotels like Oakridge Inn, Casa Ojai Inn, or The Capri which all welcomes your dog with open arms.

The Piedra Blanca Trail is a simple 2.5-mile hike through the Los Padres National Forest. The trail starts out by crossing the Sespe Creek, then continues through the forest to give you a beautiful scenic view. While hiking, the two of you may even see one of California’s endangered condors as they are known to live in this forest. Be sure to check your dog when walking the trail since it is known for having overgrown thorny plants throughout the hike. If you want to continue your hike, this trail connects to the Rose Valley Falls Trail. Don't forget to bring plenty of water for your dog to drink and some clean-up bags.
