The Midway District is located on the north side of the Point Loma Peninsula, just an eight minute drive north of San Diego, California’s central business district. Midway is a highly commercial area with plenty of restaurants, shops, and services to access on foot.

Pet owners will find the Banfield Pet Hospital here to provide veterinary services and several chain and independent pet supply shops to stock up on dog food and goodies. Dog-friendly restaurants in the area include Naked Cafe, L & L Hawaiian Barbecue, Georgia’s Greek Cuisine, Pick Up Stix, Native Foods Cafe, and Einstein Bros Bagels where your pup can join you in outdoor seating areas for a bite to eat.

San Diego enjoys beautiful warm weather most of the time and regular walks are not hampered by inclement weather. While winters are cool, they are still mild, and icy conditions and frigid temperatures are almost unheard of.
