Pacific Heights is an affluent neighbourhood located in San Francisco, California. It stretches from Union Street to Bush Street in the north-south direction and from Van Ness Avenue to Presidio Avenue in the east-west direction. The neighborhood boasts spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, the Palace of Fine Arts, Alcatraz, and the Presidio. Pacific Heights is home to two lovely parks, Alta Plaza Park and Lafayette Park. Alta Plaza Park offers panoramic views of the city and boasts a playground and tennis courts. It is an ideal spot for your pup to have a runaround. The park even hosts a ‘Pug Sunday' on the first Sunday of every month! It is hugely popular with dog owners and your pup is sure to find lots of other dogs to play with. 

Lafayette Park lies just east of Alta Plaza Park. This too is a picturesque park that boasts spectacular views of San Francisco. Puppies and picnickers pack this hilltop park which also offers a playground for the kiddies and tennis courts. 

Slightly further afield in a westerly direction, Baker Beach is located in the Sea Cliff neighborhood. This dog-friendly beach offers your pup the chance to play off-leash. The beach is clean and a perfect spot to escape the city environment.
