I am a retired female in my early 60’s who is a regular daily walker. As a Wag! Walker I have done over 200 dog walks. I am RELIABLE & RESPONSIBLE. Numerous owners have designated me as their preferred walker. I always go the extra mile for the dogs in my care. For example, I ALWAYS make sure each dog has a fresh & full water bowl at the end of our walk. And, if it has been rainy & wet, I wipe the dog’s paws before bringing him/her back into the house. I would love to walk your Pup!

Dog Walking in Windsor

As a smaller incorporated town in downtown Sonoma County, Windsor is a peaceful destination only 63 miles from San Francisco, 9 miles north of Santa Rosa. Other neighboring cities in the Windsor area include Healdsburg and Forestville. After an unfortunate fire in the early 20th century, Windsor has been rebuilt to accommodate a dog-friendly environment or booming tourist attractions.

In Windsor, there are currently two dog-friendly accommodations for you to choose from: a mixture of popular Airbnb rentals or the beautiful little Cottage in Sonoma’s Wine Country. Both accommodations are under $300 per night, and allow dogs to stay with you at little or no charge.

There are ten dog-friendly restaurants to choose from in Windsor. From traditional burgers and BBQ to Cuban delicacies, Windsor has all your food taste needs covered. Windsor also has pubs and bakeries that have dog-friendly seating for you to sit back and relax with a quick treat and Fido.

Windsor is home to one of the most intriguing wineries in this area. The winery is dog-friendly, and surprisingly dog-themed. That’s right! The local winery prides itself on naming their wines after quirky dog related puns. (If you’re a regular here at Wag! Walking, you know we love our dog puns!)

Windsor is a lovely little town, whether you plan to spend a few days here or settle down with your pal. You can find more dog-friendly activities just a short drive out of town.
