Washington, D.C. weather presents a variety of conditions and temperatures for pedestrians to contend with in the Marshall Heights neighborhood. People who walk their pets regularly should expect cold and sometimes snowy winters with warm outerwear. Severe blizzards are not common, but when they do occur, you should find ways to exercise your pup inside and wait for weather conditions to improve before venturing out. Summers are humid, so vary the time of day during which you take your dog out to find cooler periods and drink lots of water to avoid the heat.
