Paradise Cove may be paradise, but these townhomes are located on South 3rd Street between Orlando Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. There's no cove to be found! This being said, the townhouses sit buried deeply in the shade of old growth trees and you are a five-minute walk from the beach with direct access at the end of South 3rd. Both of the nearby main streets are part of Florida Highway A1A.

From here, you are a short drive from the city center and shopping amenities that sit along the Minuteman Causeway. In this area, there are two grocery stores, the city offices, the fire department, police department, and a number of local restaurants worth checking out. However, if you need bigger stores, it's only a short drive north to the West Cocoa Beach Causeway from your condo. Along this causeway, there is a Winn-Dixie supermarket in the Bealls Outlet shopping center where you'll have more options.

On both sides of this neighborhood are two bustling stretches of road that tend to stay busy from early in the morning until late at night. Most of the blocks around Paradise Cove are residential, which means you can expect to see a surge in traffic and congestion during the morning and evening rush hours as people go to and from their jobs

Sidewalks are in short supply with the only ones being on either South Orlando or South Atlantic. The one on the east side is wider and meanders back and forth as it runs along the highway, making it a little less of a boring walk. Keep in mind that South Atlantic is a bustling road and traffic noise can be high. The best way to help your dog cope with this is to keep them on a short leash and to go for your walks early in the morning before the area comes to life.

The walk to the beach shouldn't take you more than five minutes unless you have to wait for traffic. The beaches from 4th Street down to 16th Street are open to dogs from 6 to 10 AM and 5 to 7PM. The rules are simple: keep your dog on a leash at all times and pick up any messes they leave in the sand! The city has provided pet waste disposal bins at each public crossing for your use, so please use them to help keep the beaches clean and open to dogs.

The nearest park is on South 4th Street, less than five minutes away. Ramp Road Park covers a large area and offers plenty of grass for you and your dog to run around on, two playgrounds that will keep the kids happy, tennis and basketball courts, and a small public boat ramp. The park also has a walking track that both of you can use if doing laps is your thing.
