Living in the Bellair Condo Apartments puts you in the perfect position to live without a vehicle. Your home is across the street from a Publix grocery store and shopping center and is only a block from the beach!

Most of those who live in the condos are year-round residents who come for the amazing winters in which January is the coldest month. It'll start to warm up just in time for Bike Week, Spring Break, and Race Week.

Living here also puts you within driving distance of a selection of excellent restaurants to choose from if you like to eat out. If you are looking for pet supply stores and dog-friendly parks, you should plan to head back over to the mainland side. Between the miles of beach to walk along and the dozens of city blocks, there are plenty of places for you and Fido to get out and go for long, healthy walks.

If you don't mind walking on sidewalks and paved surfaces, there are dozens of residential blocks to walk around in this neighborhood. Variety is the spice of life and the more you can vary the blocks you and Fido stroll around, the less likely they are to fuss about getting out and about. Remember, your pup uses their nose to explore new terrain. The last thing they want is to keep sniffing at the same spots day after day!

To make your walks more fun, you should take your pup over to the beach where you can get your walk in hiking through the soft sand first and then cooling your feet off in the surf on the way back. To get the best of both worlds, try walking around the neighborhood on some days and hitting the beach in the early morning hours on others.

The nearest green space is obviously the 23 miles of pristine white sand and the ocean. But you may not want to spend all of your walking time on the beach.

Thankfully, you are only a short drive up N Beach from Tomoka and Bulow Creek State Parks. 1,500 years ago, the Timucua Indians called the headwaters of the Tomoka Rivers home. In fact, you and Fido can hike to see the remains of this ancient village along with one of the largest "Indian Mounds" in the state. There is a half-mile long nature trail to hike that takes you deep into the hardwood hammocks.

Bulow Creek Park used to be the home of the Bulow Plantation. Today, the ruins of the plantation can still be seen along with the Fairchild Oak that is thought to be over 400 years old. Both parks make great places to go walking on a warm summer day.
