Beverly Court is tiny little neighborhood of single-family homes a block away from the Halifax River and down the road from the Halifax Marina. One of the great things about living here is that you are within walking distance of the Chart House, one of the best-known restaurants in town.
You can walk the same distance south and be at Bethune Point Park where you will find plenty of grass to run around on. If you are looking for more restaurants, there are plenty within driving distance and over on the beachside peninsula to check out. Beachside is also the best place to go clubbing with several to choose.
Speaking of the beach, did you know you can hang out on the beach practically every day of the year in Daytona, even in January? It might be a bit chilly with temperatures in the low 50s, but all you need is a jacket to stay warm.
The terrain here is flat and suburban with little in the way of challenging walks to take. However, if you go to the marina, there is a trail leading all the way out to the Halifax Marina Office. The trail runs along the side of the riverbank and is great place to take your pup. They can sniff their way along the trail while you watch the boats going by on the Halifax River. This is good way for both of you to log in some miles while enjoying the fresh air.
You can still get in plenty of exercise even if you don't take the trail along the riverbank. All you have to do is choose different blocks to walk around, change them frequently, and decide if you are taking the long walk today or the short one. The most important thing is to make sure you take your pup for a walk every day!
The closest green space is across the street at Bethune Point Park. Here, you will find four baseball fields and plenty of grass for the two of you to run around on. Keep in mind that you must keep your pup on a leash and clean up after them.
If you are looking for space to let your dog run, you should try the beach! You and Fido can walk, jog, and run for as many miles as the two of you can handle. Take the soft sand that is hard to walk in on the way out on your hike. This gives everyone's legs a good workout. But on the way back, take the wet sand next to the edge of the water. The wet sand is much easier to walk on and both of you get the chance to play in the cool surf and have a little extra one-on-one time!
