El Conquistador Condos sit 1.5 blocks from the Halifax River, just 2.5 blocks from the "World's Most Famous Beach," and has a total of sixteen units. Whether you rent a condo for your vacation or live here year-round, there is always plenty to do. The pubs, clubs, and bars along A1A offer a wide range of entertainment and styles. There is literally something for everyone here in Daytona Beach!

The same applies to restaurants. You will find almost every conceivable type of eatery from fast food to fine dining. There is even a small park nearby for you to take your dog over to if they need a little exercise.

Living on the beachside means loving the summer weather here with temperatures in the 90s and seemingly endless sunny days where there is hardly ever a cloud in the sky. Even the winters here are fabulous with January lows in the upper 40s and no snow to deal with!

The terrain here is typical of just about anywhere on the beachside: flat and sandy. The only reason anyone here has any grass in their yards is that, at some point in time, sod was laid down. This includes the grass surrounding the El Conquistador Condo. The condos have a large area of grass that you and Fido can romp around on. Currently, there is a vacant lot next to the condos, but this is private property, so you can't walk your dog there.

This leaves you with two choices. You can use the sidewalks running through the neighborhoods across S. Peninsula Dr. and create your own walking routes or you can use the sidewalks as a means to an end. The end being to arrive at the beach where you and Fido have miles of sand to walk on! You are only limited by your imagination and by how far you are prepared to walk.

Beyond the grass around the condos, there isn't much in the way of green space close to them. If you want trails, trees, and wetlands, you need to hop in the car and cruise over to the mainland and Tomoka State Park. The easiest way to get there is to take Peninsula to the Granada Bridge and then turn right, following N. Beach all the way to the park. It's only a short drive, but once you get there, you will glad you did.

Tomoka State Park covers 2,000 acres straddling the Tomoka River. The park has a half-acre nature trail and a mile-long paved trail for you and Fido to stroll along. The area is home to more than 160 species of birds including bald eagles, peregrine falcons, and the northern harrier. In the heart of the park is Nocoroco, an ancient Timucuan Indian village that is thought to be over a thousand years old.
