Before starting to pursue a career in Medicine, I've always had a passion for animal care. Being able to spend time with animals, whether it's dogs, horses, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, or even fishes and reptiles, is always a pleasure for me. I have experience in training and taking care of all types of dogs, and it has been a blessing to be able to offer a good and genuine service to people who love their dogs as much as I love mine.

I have loved animals my entire life. When I was little, my dream job was to be a veterinarian. My adult career has taken me along a different path, but my childhood dream inspired me to volunteer in a veterinarian clinic for a year. There, I learned how to care for dogs and cats and found the joy of caring for our four-legged friends.

“** Let's go on an adventure today ! **”

I understand that your dog is in the house alone, bored, full of energy and may need to use the bathroom. So on a Wag adventure with me I aim to satisfy all their needs in the given time. If your fuzzy buddy is willing I will run as much as possible because we know how important exercise is for their health. I aim to travel 1 mile in 30 minutes. I like to spend 3-5 minutes playing with them and I give your little pal all the time they need to smell the smells and handle all their doggy affairs.

Dog Walking in Haines City

Haines City is part of the Tampa Bay Area. Like many suburbs of Tampa, it combines everything you love about a metro area with everything you love about a small town. Haines City is a great place to live, but it’s also becoming a popular tourist destination all its own. What brings dog-lovers to Haines City? The service! There are six vets, including both private practice and animal hospitals, within Haines City. All perks, no waiting!

Celebrate the start to your Florida adventure with a trip to Tortillaria La Mexicana! This Mexican classic is a favorite of Haines City locals because they serve large portions of authentic Mexican cuisine to dog-friendly, outdoor tables. Try their enchiladas or fajitas. Remember to save a little room for dessert. This restaurant boasts handmade ice cream!

The Eva Lake Community Park is a fantastic place to gather the whole family together. Your dog won’t appreciate the aquatic center, but the rest of your family just might. Take your dog on a walk along the grassy lakeshore, or sneak her a treat on your picnic blanket. Either way, this park is amazing.

Haines City is a charming place to live or visit--it’s true for humans, but it’s even more true for dogs!

The Bethune Area of Haines City is heavily residential. Cook Field is a public field used mainly for sports. What it lacks in other amenities, it makes up for in space and convenience. If you’re looking for a place to walk your dog, Cook Field can do the trick. It’s also a large enough area that you can walk laps around it without getting dizzy, perfect for exercising even an energetic dog. It’s not fenced, so keep your pup on leash! The park is popular for little league events, so be aware if your dog doesn’t love crowds.

The 8 Acre Neighborhood Park delivers exactly what the name promises! This park puts a little bit of everything together. There is a small children’s play area, and a small amount of space set aside for basketball courts and sports fields. The rest of the area is open! 8 Acre Neighborhood Park is perfect for walking your dog on green grass. There is plenty of space to roam, so even just walking the perimeter could be a workout. This park is heavily tied to the school cycle. If you avoid the after school and weekend morning rush, this place is a quiet getaway from the business of Haines City.

The Lake Marion Creek - Stokes Preserve is a small, natural space at the edge of the Baker Dairy neighborhood of Haines City. This largely undeveloped space is perfect for packing up and getting away from it all. The main draw is the attractive water feature; the creek runs right through the park. Dogs do have to be leashed, but there’s nothing in place to prevent wading! There are also plenty of shade trees in the area if you want another way to cool down. Remember to bring your own bowl and fresh water, since this space doesn’t have drinking fountains.

On the outskirts of Haine City is a large natural resource that’s one of the best places to explore with your dog. Allen David Broussard Catfish Creek Preserve State Park has everything you need for a memorable day, weekend, or week! There’s camping at the park if you want to spend the night. If you don’t, you can still day trip. There are water features for canoeing and fishing, and lots of trails for hiking. You can pick a challenging distance to march, or amble down smaller trails. As long as you keep your pet on leash, pick up after him, and don’t let him hassle the local wildlife, this is the park for you.

Wilson Park in Davenport is six minutes from the heart of Haines City. It’s also a popular park that brings people in from far and wide. It’s famous for its splash pad, but there’s a lot more going on in this park! Your dog will like the walking paths. Leash up and take the paved trails that connect one section of the park with the next. It’s an easy walk that provides plenty of people watching opportunities along the way. Social dogs will love it, and all of the sights and smells will provide a little mental stimulation to go along with stretching those pup legs.
