Dune Point Condo is among the many condominiums lining the beach and offer a spectacular view of the sunrise. With the water at your doorstep, living here can be like having your own little slice of heaven. Even your dog will enjoy being this close to the waves as it makes the perfect place to take long walks.

Just up the beach is the Flagler Avenue Boardwalk. Here, you will find a number of bars, stores, and restaurants. Being this close to Flagler Avenue also puts you in the busiest part of town. All along this road, you will find even more restaurants and bars to sample.

Across the street from the condominium is a large residential area of single-family homes that also make a great place to take your dog for walks. The one thing missing is "green" parks, but you do have the advantage of being on the beach, so there are alternatives.

As said, this is a bustling area of town where the streets stay busy from rush hour until late into the evening, seven days a week. If all the vehicular traffic on the streets isn't bad enough, you face endless streams of cars and people out on the beach. This much traffic can make taking your dog out for walks difficult if they are not used to being in busy areas.

To avoid this and the heat of a Central Florida summer, you should try to take your dog out for walkies early in the morning. During this time, the air is cool and fresh and the seagulls are likely to be the only company you have except for others who are taking advantage of this time of day. With so many condos lining the coast, you may find it better to use the sand, so you don't have to keep stopping for people driving in and out of parking lots.

With the beach at your doorstep, you are living on one of the largest open spaces in the area. The sands run for miles to the south and make the perfect place to take your dog for walks. The soft sand will really work their leg muscles while the wet sand is for playtime.

If you both crave greener hikes, the Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve is only a ten-minute drive away. There are several places to enter the many trails running throughout the preserve. You can hike the full three miles to Rose Bay and back or just to the observation tower. This is a very popular hiking area and you are sure to run across many others walking their dogs at the same time. To avoid the crowds, the best time of day to go out is early in the morning which also happens to be the best time to look for the many forms of wildlife that call the preserve home.
