This area has a very good mix when it comes to topography. Although some areas of the city are relatively flat, there is a large number of hilly areas that appear in clusters. This makes Mary Oaks the perfect spot because it is just wedged between two of these hilly regions. It is very easy to find a flat path for more relaxing walks, yet also very easy to find some tougher hills for a more strenuous workout. This area is also pretty even in natural and artificial terrain, given its location next to a large city and several hill ranges.

Mary Oaks is also lucky enough to have a very strong community and government support of nature and beauty continuing to thrive within the community. This is evident through the inclusion of several beautiful man-made parks as well as countless neighborhoods in the area featuring beautiful walking paths surrounded by unique front lawn greenery.
