Marquette Park is a large park located in the Chicago Lawn community of Greater Chicago. The neighborhood is a mix of both working and middle-class families and is much quieter than many areas of Chicago. This makes it a fabulous place to raise your family. Where once this neighborhood had a reputation for gang-related crimes, in the past few years, the residents of this community have worked very hard to restore the area and make is safer for you to walk your dog in.

The big green space of Marquette Park itself is one of the largest in the Greater Chicago Area, covering some 300 acres. The park itself was designed in 1905 by the Olmstead Brothers. Now, over a century later, Marquette Park continues to be one of the most beautiful parks in the city and offers a wide range of athletic fields, a golf course, and a two-mile-long walking path that winds around the outside edge of the pond. The lake offers fishing and the park has plenty of shady trees for the two of you to nap under.
