The Old Spain neighborhood in North Weymouth sits on a spit of land that sticks out into the Weymouth Fore River. The ground is mostly flat here with some rolling hills just to the northeast. Most of the homes here sit on large lots with plenty of room to spread out. The only real issue with walking here is that there aren't any sidewalks for you and your pup to hike along with the exception of Bridge St. With a little care, you can walk to any of the local parks or down to the beach. If you plan to walk in at night, be sure to wear your reflective clothing.

Most of the community is interconnected, making it possible for you and your four-legged friend to find plenty of different directions to walk and ensuring neither one of you ends up getting bored with your walks, helping both of you to get the exercise you need.

There are several vast greenways both within and just outside of the community for you and your pup to go for walks in. Walking along the streets is all well and good and there is plenty of exercise to be had, but nothing beats a park for the two of you to romp around on. But, for more fun, why not head to the southeast and take a walk along Philip's Creek and out into Pratts Meadow where the two of you will find acres of grass and shade trees to walk around in?

Over to the northwest sits Ferry Point and an unnamed park where you can walk along the trail or play around on the beach to your heart's content.

Finally, O'Sullivan Park sits on 7 acres of greenway just north of Bridge St. and has a short trail running through it along with plenty of grass for your pup to play on.
