The inactive village of Florida is found in Monroe County, Missouri. It is located on the shores of Mark Twain Lake, which means there are some pawsome outdoor oppawtunities to enjoy with your furry friend. While there are no veterinary clinics located in Florida, there are some animal hospitals located nearby in Monroe City and Palmyra that you can visit to make sure that your beloved companion is fit and healthy.

When you are in Florida, you have got to visit the Mark Twain State Park with your furry friend! This is a puptastic place to explore the outdoors and you can enjoy all of the sniff-tastic trails that are here. There are some beautiful views of the lake, as well as the hickory and maple trees providing some shade when it is hot outside. You can also spot wildlife here, which includes deer and turkey. Other puptastic amenities here include beaches, boat ramps and picnic areas. All canines are welcome here at Mark Twain State Park, as long as he or she remains on leash during your visit.

Just be sure to bring some fresh water and trees for your canine, as you will be out in the wilderness with no facilities nearby.

Here you will find the puptastic Indian Creek Recreation Area where your canine can bound around in nature. There is a day pass needed to enter Indian Creek Recreation Area, but it is worth every penny to see your pooch have a ball! In addition, there are fees for camping, both tent and RV.

Here you will find the furrific White Conservation Area where you can enjoy some outdoor exploring with your furry friend. You can also go fishing here, with catfish, crappie and sunfish found at White Conservation Area. What’s more, you can also camp under the stars and enjoy the serenity of nature. Just be sure to bring some fresh water for your panting pup when you visit White Conservation Area.
