I have lived with pets (dogs, cats, fish, and even a hedgehog!) all my life. I worked as a dog walker and pet sitter while completing an internship a few years ago, and it was one of the best jobs I have ever had! Being around dogs makes me happy, and I am excited to spend time walking and caring for your pets!

“Less like dog whisperer, more like genuine spirit!”
I was the sole caretaker with my huge Golden Retriever, Oliver, walking him every day, working on training, and even wrangling him in the bathtub! Now that I have my own thriving doggy business since Jan 2019, my besties and I are never bored again! Days I'm available, I'd absolutely cherish time with yours! I feel so blessed that dogs of all breeds and sizes feel immediately comfortable in my presence, and out of the 500+ walks I've taken for Wag, only 1 time was I unable to gain a pup's trust!

“A lot more walkin means a lot less barkin :)”
I absolutely love pets of all kinds. I personally own three pups, a chi weenie, a beagle, and a St. Bernard mix so I am super familiar with walking the different sizes. I am a college student looking to interact and care for your fur baby as often as needed. I also have experience with cats and bunnies. Caring for your pet as a job isn’t work at all! I always wanted to be a vet as a kid, but can’t wrap my head around biology. Here, I still get to spend my dad with super sweet pets so win-win!

I have been a dog-sitter many times back home in St. Louis, so I am very excited to start walking dogs here in Chicago, where I attend school. I have my own pup back home so I have experience in training and with dogs of all ages. I am a very friendly person who loves to be outside, and I promise your dog will have a memorable time walking with me. Can't wait to get started and meet all your dogs!
My name is Kelly and I am a canine fanatic! I’ve been walking for Wag for almost a year and I am absolutely honored to care for all the dogs I’ve met along the way. I understand how hard it is being away from your furry friend, so I make sure all my clients are given extra TLC no matter what! When I’m not walking, I am working full time at a local doggie daycare. I’ve worked in the pet care industry for over 5 years and am very passionate about what I do. I can’t wait to be your pets new BFF!

As the fastest growing city in the entire state of Missouri (according to the 2010 U.S. Census), Wentzville is home to a myriad of pet-friendly attractions and opportunities. Often called the "Crossroads of the Nation" due to its' location near several major interstates, locally the town is known as a friendly and charming place to live, even as it expands rapidly.
Wentzville is home to two dog parks. Broemmelsiek Dog Park is a 2.5-acre fenced-in area with tons of open space. Locals love the shade trees and the cool waters of the lake - just right for a hot day. Nearby is Quail Ridge Dog Park, which is a slightly smaller park that is fully handicapped accessible.
A favorite hiking path in the area is the Quail Ridge County Park Trail. Six miles long, the trail combines paved and natural paths and is accessible year-round. On-leash dogs are allowed to traverse the route, which is suitable for all skill levels.
During the holiday season, pets (including horses!) are allowed to participate in the annual Holiday Parade. Each March the city hosts a "Bone Hunt" which takes place in Rotary Park. Join your furry friend as he or she digs for buried treasure with the other local pooches, and participate in raffles and a nature walk around the park!
Is your canine companion ready to get outside and play? Leash her up and take a trip to Quail Ridge Park. Tucked away in the State Highway and Ebert Lane area, this beautiful park is full of rolling meadows and forested hills. Your furry friend will love exploring more than seven miles of natural and paved trails. After a leisurely stroll, stop over at the Quail Ridge Dog Park. She can run and play to her heart’s content in this 1.5 acre off leash area. There are separate areas for large and small dogs, so pups can enjoy a stress free trip to the park. A covered shelter is provided, allowing you to visit the park rain or shine.
Broemmelsiek Park is located just eight miles south of Wentzville in the quiet area of New Melle. Your furry friend will love exploring over 400 acres while soaking up some sunshine. Be sure to keep your pup leashed since there’s a chance you’ll cross paths with horseback riders. When your pooch is ready to ditch his leash, head over to the Broemmelsiek Dog Park. This park was voted “Best Dog Park” in the region, so your dog won’t want to miss out! He can cruise around nearly five acres of off leash area and splash in the park’s pond. He’s sure to have a tail waggin’ time!
Pack up your pooch and head over to Rotary Park for some exercise. This park is only six miles west of Wentzville in the nearby area of Foristell. Spend some quality time with your fur baby as you venture into the park’s 72 acres. You can wander through the grassy area or stick to the 1.3 mile paved walking trail. If you’re feeling lucky, cast a line into the lake and see if you can pull up a fish. This park hosts several notable events, so be sure to check the schedule so you don’t run into the crowds.
If you’ve got a hankering for pizza, head over to Tommy D’s Pizza. Choose from a variety of toppings or switch it up and have a salad or toasted sandwich. Fur-tunately, there is dog friendly patio seating so your canine companion can come along. Just a couple streets from the City Center area is Westinn Kennels. This facility prides itself for having all your canine needs under one ‘woof’. They offer training, grooming, daycare and boarding. If you’re headed out of town, book one of the comfy suites for your dog. Don’t forget to add on a special treat like a Kong with peanut butter or doggie ice cream!
Just five miles to the east of Wentzville is the Community of Lake St. Louis. Pay a visit to this small town so your four legged friend can enjoy the sights and smells of Founders Park. If your pup needs to burn up some energy, briskly walk around one of the park’s paths. You can also wander through the sports complex and check out some baseball or soccer games. A visit to the park is always better with a picnic. Pack up a lunch and some kibble for your dog and stop by one of the picnic areas. A trip to this park will make your dog one happy hound!
