As a suburban neighborhood, Eastover is largely composed of artificial terrain. There are plenty of large, mature trees, but lawns and local parks are manicured. Additionally, much of the neighborhood has well-maintained sidewalks on at least one side of the roadways. However, even while using the sidewalks, always remain aware of your surroundings and keep a tight control on Spot!

Charlotte, as a city, is quite hilly and so is Eastover! There are both rolling and dramatic hills in this neighborhood, so you and Spot will experience a variety of different inclines and declines while you walk around. You may need to plan your route ahead of time.

The boundaries of Eastover include South Laurel Avenue and Randolph Road to the north, Briar Creek to the east, and Providence Road to the west. Most of the commercial spaces and the heavier traffic will be on Providence Road, the northwestern border of the neighborhood.
