Welcome to the beautiful neighborhood of Tolbert located inside the city of Greensboro, North Carolina! This small town of around 650 people, to be precise, will welcome you in as part of their hometown. Be sure to clean up after your leashed pup as you walk along the city streets and explore area landmarks and businesses along E. Washington, Perkins Street, S. Booker and many other streets. If you get hungry along your way, check out the local favorite Fischer's Grove. You and Fido can grab a table outside and set your taste buds to be amazed!  Your server only asks that your pup keep all four paws on the ground at all times and they stay on their leash and under your control while you dine. A bowl of water for Fido please and a cheeseburger for you perhaps? There are plenty of other amenities in the area to enjoy.

You and your pup will have a great time exploring nature, taking a break on a park bench, or playing a game of fetch at Keeley Park. The park features hiking trails, ponds, picnic shelters, a greenhouse, restrooms, a cross-country course, playgrounds, and even a spray park for hot summer days! Remember to stay hydrated and take every chance you get to sit a spell and soak in all the natural beauty the park has to offer. There is also a community garden where locals have grown their own plants and veggies and you may be able to utilize a plot yourself if you live nearby.  There is plenty to see and do!  Be sure you clean up after your dog and always keep them on a leash while exploring this park as there are no dedicated dog-friendly or off-leash areas. You can still get in a game of fetch with the right amount of creativity.
