Hi, I'm Catherine, and while my "career" is as a school psychologist for the public school system, my real job is spending time with my amazing little girl and 2 dogs. I have a pit bull mix and a chihuahua/ miniature pinscher mix, both of which are rescues. There has never been a time in my life where I have not had a dog. I love all other animals (I also have two rabbits). I often pet sit for friends or family members, and treat others animals as if they were my own.

In under twenty minutes, you can get from Hocutts Crossroads to Ashley Wilder Dog Park. As one of the bigger dog parks of the area, it offers your dog a chance to get off his leash and run for a little while. The grounds are well cared for and covered in grass. You will have to supply your own poop bags, but the park has water and bowls on-site for you to use. The gate is a single gate system, so always be sure to close it behind you. In addition to getting that mutts-needed exercise, Fido is sure to make some new fur-iends here.
