“Video updates & detailed report cards every walk!”

Hi, I’m Danielle and I’m a dog lover! When my english bulldog Lexi needed physical therapy due to old age, I did everything I could to keep her healthy during the last few months of her life. After her passing I realized that I absolutely love taking care of dogs, and had to find a way to pursue that. Now I've been a dog walker and pet sitter for the past 5 years, and want to give your dog the happiness I've given to so many others! Can't wait to meet and take care of your pup!

Hi there! I grew up on a farm and have been around all sorts of animals my entire life. Presently, I am the mom of a rescue pitbull who gets his teeth brushed twice a day and can sneeze on demand. I’m available to walk your dog and help him to feel safe and secure while he gets in his exercise and daily dose of fresh air. I’m available most hours of the week. Thanks!

“Committed excellent dog loving walker”

I have always loved dogs. I have taken care of my neighbors dogs and helped them by walking and grooming them as needed. I have been doing this since I was 9 years old. We had a border collie Beagle who was my best friend. I have experience with most breeds. Especially breeds that may need a bit more love and attention. I am very observant to the dogs behavior as we walk and help them when they get afraid. I do this by letting them know they are safe. I recently adopted a dog.

I began dog-walking and dog-sitting professionally in 2016. Nothing brings me greater joy in life than dogs so when your pup is on a walk with me I treat them with as much love and care as if they are my own. I keep water, treats, a backup slip-leash, and bags with me for all walks. I grew up with dogs my entire life and currently have a 37 lb bassett hound mix. In my free time I foster dogs and volunteer with a local rescue organization.

Dog Walking in Lowell

Lowell, North Carolina is a small city located in Gaston County. The city is named after Lowell, Massachusetts, and it was founded back in 1879. There were hopes Lowell would become a big textile mill town, but unfortunately, that never came to be. Today, its location between the larger cities of Gastonia and Charlotte make it the perfect bedroom community for people who work in either.

The prime location is also great news for your canine companion! While Lowell itself doesn’t have any dog parks or dog-friendly restaurants, Charlotte and Gaston both have several different options for the both of you. There are plenty of vets in the area, too. None are located directly in Lowell, though, so if you need care for a sick or injured pup, you’ll have to drive a bit. There are emergency veterinarian clinics located nearby, too; that’s one of those things you need to know about, even if you hope you never have to use it.

Lowell is a beautiful Southern town with a rich history, including one home on the National Historic Register, so if you’re looking to visit somewhere new and have your dog in tow, make sure to add Lowell to the list.

Located less than two miles north of Lowell, just outside of Gastonia’s Smyre neighborhood, you and Fido can enjoy playing at George Poston Dog Park. This bark park is located towards the back of George Poston Park. There are two separate sections. For smaller dogs, there’s a one-acre area where your dime-sized doggie can enjoy some off-leash exercise. For larger dogs, there’s an area that’s four-and-a-half acres. Both areas are fenced-in, so you can be sure your dog won’t get too far away from you. Whether your dog is small or large, please bring along waste bags to clean up after him.

Belmont’s beautiful park, Goat Island Park and Greenway, is located just under four miles from Lowell. Your dog is welcome to explore the entire park with you, but for most of the adventure, he’ll need to be on his leash. Goat Island Park and Greenway’s hidden secret? A dog park! Located near the back of the park is a completely fenced-in, off-leash dog park where your pooch can get some unrestrained exercise. You’ll want to make sure you bring along water and waste bags, as none are provided. You can also bring along a toy or two, as long as your dog doesn’t mind sharing.

Looking for another fun dog park to visit with Fido? Consider making the 15-minute drive to Mount Holly! The Catawba Heights neighborhood is home to Tuckaseege Dog Park. This park is open from dawn to dusk, so you have plenty of time to play. Before heading to the fenced-in, off-leash dog park, check out the walking trail that runs through Tuckaseege Park. It’s nearly a mile long, and it will take you past the dog park to a beautiful overlook. Wanting to get in some exercise alongside your pup? You’ve found the perfect place!

Crowders Mountain State Park

If you and Fido enjoy hiking together, why not visit a nearby state park? Crowders Mountain State Park is about 16 miles from Lowell, so it’s the pawfect opportunity for a short day trip. There are plenty of trails winding through the park; some are made for beginner hikers, while others have more proficient hikers in mind. Fido will need to stay on his leash while you’re in the park, but that’s more for his own safety. You’ll need to make sure you clean up after your pet, and you’ll want to have plenty of water on hand.

Wanting to grab a bite to eat and bring Fido along? No problem! Head to Gastonia’s Mountain Brook neighborhood, which is only about 15 minutes east of Lowell. If you want something sweet, check out the aptly-named Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt. If you’re enjoying vanilla yogurt, you can even share with your pup! If you’re wanting a real meal, head on over to McAllister’s Deli, which brags that it has the best sweet tea you can get. Fido will need to be on his best behavior, and he’ll also need to be on a leash.
