Dog Walking in Lebanon

This small borough of fewer than 2,000 people has no shortage of amenities and activities for a family with a canine member. The borough is home to four veterinary clinics which provide routine and emergency care for your pup. This small community is also a hub for outdoor recreational opportunities. Thousands of acres of land exists within its boundaries for exploration with a leashed four-legged companion.

Hunterdon County operates several large parks with opportunities for hiking, fishing, and enjoying nature. Round Valley Recreation Area has over 2,000 acres and offers camping and boating. It has three marked trails and one unmarked for you and your leashed pup to check out.Cushetunk Trail is a 9-mile trail which will take you and your leashed friend through some pristine forests. The Pine Tree Trail is a one-mile loop trail which gives you and your pup a nice stroll under a green canopy.

The Cushetunk Mountain Preserve will challenge you and your leashed canine pal on its rugged nature trails through sometimes difficult terrain. These trails are dirt pathways that will take you and your pup through some heavily forested areas up sometimes steeper elevations. For some easier strolls, a visit to Cold Brook Reserve will offer a trek through some nice mostly flat meadows.
