I grew up with dogs and we always considered them as part of the family. At a young age, I would bring stray dogs home. I have always enjoyed taking care of dogs whether they were my own or others.

“A walk a day keeps the vet away!”

I am an absolute animal lover. I have had a Dachshund, Golden Retriever, and currently an Australian Cattle Dog. I walk my mom’s 100lb rottweiler/pit bull mix and my sister’s 4 lb chihuahua all the time. So rest assured I am capable of all breeds/shapes/sizes/temperaments. I hope to meet your fur baby soon. I also have two kitties :)

“I love all dogs no matter size, drool, or energy!!”

Hi! I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life! I used to walk and take care of my parents dog, Otis, many times before he passed. Now I walk and watch my sister’s 8 month old golden retriever, and my other sisters pit bull mix and lab mix! They all range in energy and size but are no match for my dog walking skills! I love meeting new dogs and helping them burn energy as it helps me burn energy too!

Hey! My name is Alex and I would love to be your dogs regular walker. I have grown up with dogs, which included multiple breeds. I am comfortable with all dogs, even if they might be nervous with meeting new people (as my own dog struggles with this at times). I will treat your dog as my own and ensure that they are enjoying their walk and getting everything that they need.

Hi, my name is Judy. I have always had a dog in my life. My dogs and I have attended many obedience classes where I learned a lot! I love animals and am a docent volunteer at the Buffalo Zoo. I worked full time retail for many years so I know how difficult it can be for pets and owners who work. Walking with Wag has been a great experience and I love spending time with my furry friends!

Dog Walking in Elma

Nearly 12,000 people call the town of Elma in Erie County, New York home. Elma was incorporated in 1857 after being created from splitting the towns of Aurora and Lancaster. Known for being a wonderful place to live and raise a family, Elma has excellent schools, one of the county's best golf courses, two parks, several athletic fields, and thriving agricultural industries. There's an abundance of nurseries and greenhouses in the area, and they provide a beautiful backdrop to this already delightful town. Dog owners will enjoy exploring all of the green spaces in town, and you're never far from a dog-friendly activity!

There are a few dog-friendly restaurants in Elma, so there's no need to leave your dog at home when you head out for a bite to eat. One of these restaurants is called Don Juan Mexican Bar and Grill, and it's found on Seneca Street. Don Juan's serves up authentic and satisfying Mexican food in a casual environment. Their covered patio is dog-friendly, so your dog can stay by your side while you enjoy enchiladas, tacos, burritos, ice cold beer, and much more. This is just one of several dog-friendly spots in and around Elma that will be a great time for you and your pup!
