You will love exploring this beautiful neighborhood with your pooch! Homes are charming Queen Anne and Cape Cod styles as well as Craftsman and Colonial. Lots of architectural details and attractive landscaping make this a lovely place to stroll. There are sidewalks on both sides of the road and wide grassy dividers between sidewalks and streets so you will feel comfortable walking your dog on a loose leash throughout this area. Plenty of beautiful, old trees shade your walk on hot days.

With such a beautiful neighborhood to enjoy, you may think you’ll never want to walk anywhere else, but you will doubtless be drawn to the beautiful coastline along the perimeter. There is a walkway along the water, so you can enjoy the views of the Little Neck Bay while you walk your pup. There is a natural feeling rocky shoreline here too which provides interesting terrain for your dog to explore!

This beautiful, large neighborhood is wealthy in access to natural spaces. Perhaps the most attention-getting park is the gorgeous Fort Totten Park which juts out into the bay. This park has large grassy areas that are perfect for a game of fetch as well as beautiful forested coastline at Willet’s Point. This park connects to Little Bay Park and the Little Bay Dog Run is at the end, giving your dog somewhere to play off-leash while they enjoy the bay breezes. The beach along the park here and continuing down Utopia Parkway is also a nice place to enjoy.

If you want something different, you can enjoy Crocheron Park, midway through the neighborhood. This park is just across the Cross Island Parkway from the water and has nice trails through trees and clearings. At the south end of the neighborhood, you will find Alley Pond Park with its lovely river, marshy terrain, and thick forest.
