Devon Triangle is a section of town near the junction of I-71 and I-670. It is largely a light industrial area, but there are a few streets of houses in the middle of the community. Being in the middle of an industrial area and this close to two interstates means living away from essentials such as restaurants, pet supply stores, and parks for you and Fido to play in. However, most of these things can be found less than a 20-minute drive away. As for parks, the nearest ones are on the other side of I-670, but they are still within driving distance.

When it comes to the weather, most who live in the area love the summers when temperatures are in the mid-80s. However, you won't find too many people who claim to love the freezing temperatures, snow, and ice that come around every winter, forcing you and Fido to rethink how far you are willing to walk.

The terrain in this community is a blend of light industrial with large parking lots and paved areas. Residential blocks offer little to no sidewalks to utilize for your daily excursions. The ground itself is pretty flat as well and doesn’t offer much in the way of a challenge. Worse yet, there aren't that many residential blocks to include in your daily outings and walking through the industrial area is probably not the best idea, especially for pups who are prone to being spooked by loud noises of construction or traffic.

The only way you can add distance to your walks or more variety would be to take E 5th Avenue over to the Milo-Grogan community where you and your pooch will find many more residential blocks to walk around.

If you'd still like to brave the Devon Triangle community, stick to the lawns around the local businesses which can help keep you out of harm's way.

When it comes to green spaces, you won't find any here in Devon Triangle. If you want options for you and Fido to walk and play in, you have no choice but to hop in the car and go for a ride. You can travel north on Joyce Avenue to Maloney Park, a relatively large park with plenty of grass and walking trails for you and your pup to make the most of.

If you go north on Woodland Avenue, it will take you to the Evergreen Burial Park, American Addition Park, and two more cemeteries. With all of these green spaces connected together, there is plenty of room for the two of you to walk, run around, and play!

Venture to the south across the highway and you'll find Saunders Park, a 14 acre space to enjoy that offers athletic fields, playgrounds, and even swimming pools to keep cool in the summer.
