“I am your best friend’s “second” best friend!”

Hi! I grew up with a dog in the family as well as several other small animals. Now I’m the proud owner of a beautiful German Shepherd and a cute staffy so our house knows all about energy! Our favorite things to do are to go on long walks, sniff posts, and run around in our backyard in Canonsburg. I have met so many cool dogs and owners through this service over 2 yrs; it has brought such joy to my life! I cannot wait to meet your best friend and I’m hoping I can be their “second-best- friend”!

I have worked for over 10 years, with my family, to walk and board dogs. In addition, we work with rescue dogs walking them on the weekends. We are very reliable and have never missed an appointment. Also, we treat these dogs as if they are own. Let us be a temporary owner to your animals while you are away.

Hi pet owners, Your pet is in good hands with me. I love dogs and will always put tender loving care towards them. Treat them like they are my own. I’m friendly and caring and enjoy going for walks with the dogs. I’ve been doing dog walking for about a year now and I still love doing it. Being able to be around your pups makes my day. Whatever your dog needs, I’ll be there for them.

Hi, I'm Erika! I’m an enthusiastic, friendly dog walker with experience training & caring for dogs. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life-my most recent dog, Peanut, a 12 y/o chihuahua, is my best bud. In puppyhood, I trained & raised him to be the obedient sweetheart he is. I've also helped past roommates train their pups & frequently dog-sit them. Dogs bring me such joy-just as I can count on them to brighten my life, you can count on me to give your pup the exercise and outdoor time they need

Dog Walking in Carnegie

Carnegie is a small borough nestled in Allegheny County. It is named after the infamous Andrew Carnegie, who contributed to the town’s growth. Years ago, the borough thrived on farming, steel production, coal mining, and whiskey production. Today, this one square mile community has a welcoming vibe that is often a day trip destination for Pittsburgh residents. Unfurtunately, Carnegie does not have any veterinary clinics. However, canine care is only minutes away in either Pittsburgh or Bridgeville.

Treat your pup to a night on the town. Grab her leash and head over to Riley’s Pour House for a lively evening. Home to some of the area’s best Irish entertainment and food, this place won’t disappoint. Chow down on some Irish Lamb Stew or a Jameson Whiskey Marinated Flat Iron Steak. Dogs are welcome in the outside seating area. The Apis Mead and Winery allows well behaved dogs to join their pet parents in the tasting room. Stop by and sample the delicate flavors they have to offer.

While in Carnegie, be sure to take your pup for a stroll down Main Street. Your furry BFF will be impressed with the unique shops and charming atmosphere. It’s easy to see why dogs go mutts over Carnegie!

When Carnegie dogs want to let loose, they head over to the Carnegie Dog Park, located inside Carnegie Park. Since dogs are not allowed in the main park, this off leash area is much appreciated by the four legged residents. Your pupper will burn some energy as she darts and dashes around on the gravel and grass. She’ll also get to hang out with fellow canines. If you have a petite pooch, she’ll be happy to know there is a designated small dog area. You can sit back and relax on one of the benches or mingle with other pet parents. Water is available, but it’s a good idea to bring your own bowl.

With over 60 acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands, this pupperfic place will make your pal’s tail wag. Clip on her leash and wander through garden beds bursting with colorful blooms and buds. Three miles of trails weave in and out of spectacular spots like the Lotus Pond in the Japanese Garden or Bookworm Glenn. Your pal will feel right at home in Dogwood Meadow. Keep in mind dogs must stay on the trails and cannot tread in the landscaped area or swim in the pond.

If your canine companion is begging for a walk, grab her leash and make your way over to Webb Park. Tucked away in Oakdale, this park is only 10 minutes from Carnegie. Since it has ball fields, a playground, and picnic facilities, it is a hot spot for local residents. Stroll around the grounds so your pup can get some much needed exercise. Across the street, you’ll find the Panhandle Trailhead. This 29 mile trail stretches all the way to West Virginia, so your pooch will have plenty of room to stretch her legs. The Collier Township section of the trail is absolutely beautiful. Enjoy walking past thick forests and patches of wildflowers.
