Pennypack Park is a large natural area with Pennypack Creek running through it. The Pennypack Trail is over 5 miles long and takes pedestrians  over bridges, along the creek, and past historic sites. There is lots of wildlife in the park to spy and, if you look closely, you can make out old mill sites and long out of use rail lines. The Fox Chase Playground is centrally located and this recreational area is encompassed by a ring of trees. The park has ball diamonds, sports fields, and pedestrian paths to stroll with your pup.

Montgomery Lorimer Park is situated to the northeast and Burholme Park is situated in the northwest corner of Fox Chase.  Montgomery Lorimer Park surrounds the Fox Chase Farm and provides a large natural area with a creek. This large natural area provides plenty to explore if you exhaust Pennypack Park's resources, although that would be a challenge!
