I would be honored to walk your pup! My name's Jenn; I'm a dog enthusiast currently living in Lancaster with my fiance & our husky mix, Jackson. I've grown up with German Shepherds and Labs my whole life, and have puppy sat for all kinds. I've found that I'm most happy and at peace when in the presence of dogs. I'm also a singer, so if your dog is left humming a new tune I wrote for him or her during our stroll, it's on me! Thank you for your trust and I hope to meet your pet very soon!

Hi! My name is Gabby, I currently volunteer at The Pet Pantry of Lancaster to assist cleaning and medicating both dogs and cats that come in. I love being able to help anyone out with their pets so I look after a handful of my friends dogs whenever they need me to. I'd love to be helpful to other dog owners out there wanting their dog to hop outside, get some fresh air, and go for that walk they look forward to. I know how much my dog, Coco, looks forward to her walks, and I'd love to help anyone out there who needs a hand with their pup!

Hi there! My name is Tim and I have always loved animals, especially dogs. I have volunteered extensively as a dog walker at the Western PA Humane Society, and I have expertise as a dog sitter as well. During these experiences, I provided dogs of various breeds and sizes with exercise, companionship, and emotional support, and I was responsible for the safety and well-being of the dogs. I have interacted with quite a variety of canine personalities and behaviors, and I believe that my experience, responsibility, and compassion serve as an assurance to you that I am the best candidate to care for your best friend!

Hi I’m Linda! Since as long as I can remember, I’ve always been a dog lover. If I’m missing at a party or gathering, it’s usually because I found a dog and I’m hanging out with them. My babies are 9 & 11 and are my world. I have been pet sitting and helping to walk dogs since I was strong enough to hold a leash. I can’t wait to meet your dog!

I love dogs!! I have had a female pitbull for 9 years now and loved every minute of it. I have a flexible schedule so I can easily accommodate clients and their routines. I am strong enough to hold back pitbulls and great Danes so, the idea pf walking larger dogs doea not intimidate me at all. I am active and can take your pup for a run if you're looking to get him/her a little more tired out. I am happy to help with your pup!!

Dog Walking in Wrightsville

Wrightsville, Pennsylvania has all the charm of a small town! There aren’t many people, with the population estimated to be just under 2,500 in 2016. Wrightsville has quaint, old-fashioned buildings which might just make you feel like you’re in a movie. This small-town charm is deceptive, though! Wrightsville isn’t actually a town; it’s a borough in the greater York County.

However, as is usually the case in small towns, there isn’t always much to do, and it’s even worse if you’re looking for something to do with your canine companion! Wrightsville has no dog-friendly restaurants and no dog parks. There are also no veterinarian offices in the immediate area, so if you’re looking for one, you’ll have to travel a short distance outside of the borough. Don’t worry about your dog getting too bored, though. There are many options for dog-friendly dining and dog-friendly parks within a 20-mile radius of Wrightsville.

The main advantage of Wrightsville is its location along the scenic Susquehanna River, which makes the pawfect place for a riverside stroll with your best furry friend. If you’re looking for small-town charm with nearby fun for your four-legged friends, make sure you give Wrightsville a chance. You never know what fun is in store if you step out of your comfort zone!

If you’re looking for a laid-back time with your pooch, head over to nearby Columbia’s Columbia Kettle Works! This brewery, which is located less than two miles across the river from Wrightsville, has six dog-friendly patio tables. Not a drinker? No problem! Kettle Works also serves up non-alcoholic beverages and, as the name implies, popcorn. If you’re looking for something a bit heavier, check out their mouth-watering sandwiches or finger-lickin'-good ribs. Fido needs to stay on his leash at all times, and good behavior is a requirement, for both you and your pooch. Oh, and don't forget to bring a water bowl. Bone Appetit!

This allows your dog to play it safe while making some pawesome new friends. Make sure you bring water and waste baggies, as none are provided for you. Have a ball at Canine Meadows!

Tennis balls are supplied for more games of fetch than you could imagine. Like most dog parks, there are separate sections for differently-sized dogs. Whether you’re a beginner at hiking or you’ve been doing it for years, the Lancaster Junction Trail is perfect for you and Fido to explore together! This two-and-a-half-mile trail is about 11 miles from Wrightsville, and there’s ample parking at the access point. Fido will need to be on his leash the whole time. It’s for his own safety; a lot of bikers use this trail, so you’ll want to keep him close to you. Make sure to bring water for both you and your dog, and you’ll also want to keep waste bags on hand as well.
