Woodlake Briar Meadow is a rather large neighborhood located in Houston, Texas. It is roughly ten and a half miles to the west of the downtown area. Houston is the largest city in the state of Texas and has over two million residents. This town, also known as Space City, is home to NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, large museum and theater districts, professional sports teams, and several notable universities and colleges. Houston is located in southeast Texas along the Trinity and Galveston Bays. 

Woodlake Briar Meadow itself is a great mix of residential and commercial spaces. Residentially, there are plenty of standalone, single-family homes, but there are also different apartment complexes as well. Commercially, this large neighborhood has everything a resident may need or want! Most of these are smaller parks located within residential communities. They are typically home to playgrounds, short walking trails which are usually paved, and places to stop and rest. The larger ones may also have an athletic field or court. 

The nearest dog park to this area is the Danny Jackson Family Bark Park. It's a little bit of a hike, but you can find it four miles to the east of the neighborhood. This park is open from 5am to 10pm and, if you visit, please make sure to follow all posted rules, like cleaning up after your pet!
