This beach has tide pools, coastal caves, reefs for exploring, back-country hiking, and giant sycamores shading the campground area. The best part? It's totally appropriate for you to bring your doggo best friend along while you explore!
Your dog is welcome to hang out with you wherever you want to go so long as he or she is leashed (and so long as you guys don't venture down the backcountry trails together). Make sure that if you're bringing your dog to the beach, you remember to stay north of Lifeguard Tower 3. This is the specific dog-friendly area, and anything south of Lifeguard Tower 3 is off-limits to you and your dog.
All the park asks is that you keep your pooch well-mannered, on their best behavior, and friendly as all get out - and that you always keep your doggo on a leash. The park asks that leashes do not exceed 6 feet and that the person behind the leash is always in control.
Like always, bring your pup's poop bags with you and be ready to carry it to the nearest trashcan - they want this park as clean as possible so that dogs can continue to use the beach areas, so make sure you're only helping the policy!
