The panoramic views from this portion of beach-land property are known throughout the community. Looking westward, you can see "westward across a rippling channel toward the rocky spine of Lloyd’s Neck and north across Long Island Sound to the coastline of Connecticut."
Valley Grove is the beach for the small town nearby known as Eatons Neck. There, you and your furry buddy can explore the historic neighborhoods, perhaps even stopping by the second oldest lighthouse on Long Island Sound - the Eaton's Neck Lighthouse. It's a private, little area, so if you and your pooch are looking for a quiet, relaxing walk along the beach or in the town itself, this is the place to go.
So, while you may not be able to swim (or if you decide to take a dip, will need to take a shower once you get home!), there's nothing stopping you and your pupper from taking a peaceful walk along the shore, taking in the scenery while being able to see almost all the way to the city. Regardless of whether or not you get in the water, a trip to Valley Grove Beach and Eatons Neck are definitely worth your while, and will surely be something to remember!
