You can bring your RV and camp in a tent at one of their many sites in the park. There are full and partial hookups, bathrooms, showers, electricity, and water at all campsites. For a fee, you can have access to fire and firepit material, and laundry is available for monthly guests of the campground. Furthermore, picnic areas, dump station, and day use areas are available as well. The campground has areas of both shade and sunlight, depending on your preference. Large trees provide the shade in many of the areas.
There is plenty to do in the area as well! Hiking at Bonita Falls and Lytle Creek are the two most popular places in the area. Within ten miles, you will also find a shooting range, rock climbing, mountain climbing, mountain biking, cafes, restaurants, and a general store for all of your last minute camping needs.
Bonita Ranch is open all year long. Dogs are more than welcome at the campground, but they must wear their leash at all times for the safety of the other guests and dogs at the site. Always remember to pick up after your dog to keep the area clean and sanitary for the other guests. You should bring your own poop bags with you since there is no guarantee you will find any available at the site.
Overall, Bonita Ranch Campground is a good campsite option if you are looking for close proximity to the two major hiking trails in the area and want a dog-friendly site as well.
