Wildlife in the mountains here includes mountain lions, black bear, mule deer, pike, and pine marten, as well as various birds and fish.
There are 16 campsites (all standard non-electric), and each one is big enough for 30-foot RVs and trailers. Drinking water, flush toilets, and bear-proof lockers are provided, and every site has a fire ring, table, and grill. The sites are well-spaced-out so you and your pooch will have plenty of privacy.
The campground offers plenty of land and water-based activities. Whether you’re fishing for rainbow trout, paddling down Mono Creek, or hiking on the numerous trails, you and Fido will have a great time here. Remember to pack poop bags and clean up after your doggo. You can also use the boat ramp and marina at the June Lake Campground nearby, and the swimming beach at Oh Ridge Campground. Some trails will lead you to the charming Sherwin Lakes and Gaylor Lake Trails.
Hiking, wildlife viewing, fishing, swimming, and boating are all part of the fun you can have at Reversed Creek Campground. An added bonus – the short drive to the eastern entrance of Yosemite! The Yosemite National Park, Mono Lake, and Ansel Adams Wilderness all make for excellent day trips for you and Fido.
