Andy Bowie County Park is located in the northern section of South Padre Island, Texas. Nestled along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and directly across the street from the South Padre Island Convention Center, Andy Bowie County Park offers many great recreational activities for families and their dogs to enjoy.
Though there is no officially designated dog area at this community park, dogs are welcome to join their families but must remain on a lead during their visit to this lovely outdoor wonderland. Andy Bowie County Park is a private recreational center and campground.
A daily fee of $10 is required to access the grounds with campsites requiring advance reservations and additional fees. This beautiful dog-friendly facility is home to several picnic pavilions with views of the surf. Barbecues are also available on the grounds for public use.
