Once inside the park, you'll first notice the tall trees and lush lawn, with an abundance of green scenery that stands out among the bustling neighborhood. Only the sound of passing cars and the occasional train can be heard, as the park has no playground, which makes it a favorite among people looking for a peaceful time to walk outside.
The park does have lots of open space, where Fido will be able to run around or play a game of fetch unhindered, with long patches of open fields that make it easy to run around in. On the northern corner of the park is where most of the trees are, with winding paved walkways that are perfect for going for a short walk. There's a scenic fountain at the northern edge of the park, with benches, water fountains, picnic tables, and chess tables to sit at. Aside from this, you will need to remember to bring some clean-up bags, keep Fido on a leash, and remember to bring some light if you're going to be walking at night since there are no nighttime lights here.
No matter what time you decide to come, you'll find a quiet and vacant park that provides one of the best places for passive recreation, with a place to walk, play, and just breathe in some fresh air with your pup.
