Churchill Field Playlot Dog Park is an off-leash dog area at Holstein Park. Dogs that enjoy running around, playing fetch, and socializing with other dogs will enjoy this large dog park. There is a five dollar annual fee, and your dog needs to have a health check and up-to-date vaccinations. You need to show this documentation from the veterinarian at the time you pay the annual dog park fee.
This fenced in dog park has plenty of room to play fetch. Bring along a ball, Frisbee, or toy that will keep your dog entertained. The Robbinsdale Park Off-Leash Dog Area is located near a baseball area, so make sure you keep your dog on his leash until you enter the dog park.
If you notice other dogs being aggressive towards your dog or if your dog becomes aggressive, remove your dog immediately for safety reasons. You can always come back later or another day when the dog causing the issue is no longer at the park or when your dog is in a more sociable mood.
This pristine park is well cared for, and dog owners are encouraged to clean up after their dogs immediately. Bring along poop bags to assure you follow this important park rule. Also, carry a bottle of fresh water and a portable bowl for your dog. The park is beautiful, but there’s not a lot of shade, so make sure you keep your dog hydrated with plenty of fresh water.
Always keep an eye on your dog if he tends to jump or dig under fences to escape. The Robbinsdale Park Off-Leash Dog Area is located near the street, but the fence that is installed does an excellent job keeping all the dogs inside and safe. Overall, this is a great dog park to come to regularly. It has plenty of space for your dog to get exercise and play a good game of fetch. It is also excellent for socializing your dog with others.
