The City Bark-Lodo is a dog park and dog daycare facility in Lodo, Denver, Colorado. There is a parking lot at the front of the establishment for your convenience. Pet owners may leave their dogs here for a pre-organised amount of time to be cared for by the staff of the dog park.
This dog park is a building which has been conditioned specifically for looking after and exercising dogs. It incorporates an outdoor off-leash area with lots of activity equipment, an indoor play section, and a swimming pool for dogs. The outdoor areas are surfaced with paving and astroturf.
The indoor flooring is painted concrete and is also equipped with slides and dog-friendly climbing frames. Dog swim jackets are provided if required. The outdoor areas are fully enclosed with six-foot-high fencing. Dogs which have a history of scaling fences this high cannot be accepted in the daycare center.
Fees are charged for the various services of the dog park. To leave a dog for half a day costs $20.50. A full day is $33. There are discounted packages available for 5-day, 10-day or 20-daycare. There are also discounted packages for leaving a dog for half days. The City Bark-Lodo also offer other on-site services such as bathing and grooming for an extra charge.
Before using the dog daycare facility, pet owners are required to complete a questionnaire about their dog. All dogs attending the daycare must be over six months of age and be neutered. Dogs which have displayed any aggressive behavior are not permitted.
Owners must be able to take a toy away from their dog without it growling as dogs are expected to share toys while in the City Bark-Lodo Daycare Center. Dogs should have completed a full program of vaccinations which include Kennel Cough and preferably Canine Influenza.
