Most apartment complexes don’t offer areas dedicated to dogs. Falcon Pines Apartments (also known as Canterbury Cove Apartments) is different, however. Located in Orlando, Florida, these apartments are not only home to several Floridians, but they also have a state of the art dog park for pups to stretch their legs. It’s nice for a complex to offer such an amenity for dogs to have a yard instead of having to visit public dog parks all the time.
The Falcon Pines Apartments Dog Park is completely private and for residents only. With that being said, there are rules to go along with it. Dogs of all sizes are welcome to live in the complex and play in the park. For the pets to be registered, residents must pay a $300 fee for one dog and $200 for any additional pet. Only two pets are allowed per household, so residents pay no more than $500. Each pet must also meet the apartment manager for a routine personality inspection.
The Falcon Pines Apartments Dog Park is completely fenced in and even has a few agility obstacles for pups to play. They can jump through hoops and over hurdles or crawl through tunnels. Dog park rules are standard with most other parks. The complex asks that the gate stays closed at all times, dogs under four months are not permitted, dogs may only be off-leash within the park and kept under control, among other rules.
Pups are also allowed in some other amenities areas around the complex. They are permitted on-leash in the grilling area, around the picnic tables, and on the walking trail. When the dog is tuckered out from hanging out with the neighbor friends at the park, residents can hang out by the pool, grab a coffee from the coffee bar, relax in the game room or work out in the fitness area. The Falcon Pines Apartments is the perfect place for humans and dogs to live in harmony.
