Fotterall Square is a small, but packed little park that is dog-friendly to residents and visitors. Parking for the square is available on the off-street parking areas along the edges of the park. Once parked and safely out, an expansive sidewalk surrounds the square, leaving plenty of space for walkers, joggers, and pups to have plenty of room. There are four different paths that lead to the center of the park, all of them made from concrete and connect to each other.
The park is pretty open for its only 1.4 acres of space, but still has plenty of oak and birch trees scattered around to create lots of shade for park goers. Inside the open spaces, there is a baseball diamond in the southwest corner of the park, with a basketball court at the opposite corner. In between is enough room for Fido to run around to goof off, play fetch, or socialize with other dogs. At the center of the park there is a playground, with benches, water fountains, and trash bins surrounding the space. Inside the park, you'll also be able to find picnic tables and a small pavilion.
The square is surrounded by tall buildings and can get pretty busy during the day, but still provides you and your pup an excellent place to get out to not only explore the area, but to stretch and get some much needed exercise.
