This pawpular park takes its name from Mr. George W. Gage, a prominent Chicago businessman, lawyer, and South Park Commissioner. You will find that doggoes are most welcome here, but they are restricted from entering the pool and fieldhouse regions. In all other areas of this pawrific play space, your best canine pal can remain by your side, but you must keep them on a leash to keep the local pawlice on the fur-iendly side.
There are so many furrific things to check out at Gage Park that you won't know where to start! You won't want to miss out on a walk to check out the pawsitively stunning Harvest Garden. Why not grab Fido's leash and take off on one of the many furrific walking paths to burn off a few extra calories and reconnect with nature? You will find lots of grass areas that provide the pawrfect spot for a picnic lunch for Fido and the whole fam. Don't forget to include some doggy must-haves in your picnic bag, including snacks, drinking water, and cleanup bags!
Other puptastic things at Gage Park include ball diamonds, a walking track, basketball courts, and tennis courts. There is also a pool on the grounds, but pupperonis are not permitted in this area.
If a day of adventure sounds like just what the dogtor ordered, you'll find what you are looking for at Gage Park. Plan a visit there today. It's a doggone amazing spot!
